Meterboost Project | Handling and Installation of Solar Panels

A URW-295-2 mini crane moving and installing solar panels at a residence.

One of the major challenges in modern construction is the growing emphasis on renewable energy. When this goal intersects with modern buildings and spaces with limited access, logistics and cargo handling become critical to the project’s success.

It was in this context that ALMOVI took on the responsibility for material handling at a construction site in Estoril, where the company Meterboost needed to transport solar panels and all the components required to install the system to the rooftops of the homes.

Given the space constraints at the construction site, the solution involved using the URW-295-2 Mini Crane, a compact yet highly efficient piece of equipment. Even in a confined environment, the team was able to position the crane on site and, with the support of the JIB, reach a height of approximately 9 meters, enabling the safe lifting of all materials.

Thanks to the equipment’s precision, light weight, stability, and versatility, the Meterboost team was able to install the solar panels quickly, efficiently, and in complete safety.
