Glass Installation Robots: Technology Driving Productivity and Safety in Construction

15-12-2025

In modern construction, installing large glass panels increasingly demands efficiency, precision, and above all, safety. Glass installation robots meet this challenge, contributing to significant productivity gains on site, requiring only two or three people for panel installation, depending on the type of fixing. At Almovi, we provide state-of-the-art equipment to handle glass panels or other non-porous materials with total control and reliability, ensuring deadlines are met and costs optimized.

Reliable Solutions for Demanding Jobs
Handling glass safely remains one of the most delicate tasks on site. Installation robots are compact, highly maneuverable, and equipped with vacuum suction cups that securely hold the glass, drastically reducing the risk of accidents or damage. They are ideal for interior work, façades, hard-to-reach areas, or high-rise buildings.

Flexible Rental, Cutting-Edge Technology
We know not every project justifies purchasing equipment. That’s why Almovi offers rental solutions tailored to the sector’s needs. This approach gives clients access to equipment without concerns about maintenance or storage, backed by our specialized technical support team.

More Safety on Site with Vacuum Technology
Safety is a core value for Almovi and our construction partners. Vacuum lifting systems help prevent injuries from physical strain, eliminate manual handling, and increase productivity on site. With installation robots, glass positioning is done with maximum precision on the first attempt, reducing waste and work time.

Success Story

10,000 m² of glass: In a five-month rental, the robot assisted in installing 3,113 m² of glass with an average weight of 335 kg, totaling 532 panels. In the following five months, on another project for the same client, 7,600 m² of glass were installed, with an average weight of 180 kg, totaling 2,430 panels, always mounted from the inside out.
This level of productivity is one of the advantages highlighted by site managers. Result: project completed efficiently and a satisfied client.
